Quite Shore Cottage

located 10 east minutes of Tatamagouche / 10 minutes west of River John

Welcome to Wildflower Lane! Enjoy our quiet beach and swim in the warmest waters north of the Carolina's. Watch the seals sunbathe at low tide while the herons and sandpipers search for hermit crabs. A five minute walk along the shore will take you to Rushton's beach.
 
From the cottage, you'll enjoy a view that spans Rushton's beach, along Cape John, across Tatamagouche Bay to  Malagash Point and Brule Point, beyond which the sun will set each evening.

'Quite Shore' Cottage has a spectacular water/sunset view. 'Quite Shore' is a two bedroom consisting of a master loft with a queen bed and a second bedroom which has two bunk beds (one double/single and one single/single). The bathroom has both a large corner tub as well as a separate corner shower. There is a washer and dryer in the back porch.

The kitchen includes everything you could ever need...fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, fondue, etc. Enjoy the gas BBQ on the deck, roast marshmallows over a fire in the outdoor fire pit immediately in front of the cottage or take a beach chair to the beach and have a bonfire. For your recreation we have board games, crokinole, darts, crib, badminton, croquet, IPOD player, TV, VCR, DVD, CD player plus a trampoline (that can be disassembled if preferred), or you can lounge in the hammock .

You need only pack a bag... everything you'll ever need is within ten minutes of the cottage in either River John or Tatamagouche: wonderful roadside vegetable stands (organic included), butchers, fish merchants (Huston's), bookstores (Hanna's); and liquor stores in both towns. Whether you're coming for complete relaxation or you'd like to golf, kayak, wine-taste, shop, take a day-trip to PEI... all are close by.
